Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data we process when you visit ouradent.com, book a call or write to us, why we do it, and what rights you have.

Who is responsible for your data

What data we process and why

When you book a call: name, email, phone number, clinic name and the answers you give in the booking form. We use them to hold the call and prepare for it. Legal basis: steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you write to us by email or WhatsApp: your contact details and the content of the message, to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or steps before a contract.
When you sign up for the webinar: name, email, phone number and clinic details, to send you access, reminders and a recording. Legal basis: your consent and steps before a contract.
When you become a client: contact, contract and invoicing data, to deliver our services and keep accounting records. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
When you visit the website: technical data (IP address, browser, device, pages visited, how you got to us), to keep the site secure and understand how it is used. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and your consent where the law requires it for cookies.

We do not use your data for automated decision making or profiling with legal effects for you. We do not sell your data.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and which pages are useful, and to measure the results of our ads. These tools set cookies and may process your IP address and device data. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Marketing cookies are used only with your consent.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run Ouradent, bound by data processing agreements:

Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Google Workspace email)
Calendly (call booking)
WhatsApp / Meta (when you message us on WhatsApp)
Netlify (website hosting)
Our accountant, and public authorities or courts when the law requires it

If you are a patient referred to one of our partner clinics, we share your details with that clinic only with your consent.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (for example Google, Calendly, Meta and Netlify) may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your data

Enquiries and call bookings: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
Client and invoicing data: for the duration of the contract and then as long as accounting and tax law requires (in Slovakia usually 10 years).
Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Data based on consent: until you withdraw your consent.

How we protect your data

We use secure, encrypted connections (SSL), access controls and trusted providers, and only people who need the data for their work can see it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we process data based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal.

To use your rights, write to ahoy@ouradent.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within one month.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

Is providing data mandatory?

No. But without your contact details we cannot book a call, reply to you or provide our services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
